Meet the JP43 Training Coaches

Learn from the best in the business!

Jason Pridmore
Head Coach

Jason Pridmore has been one of the motorcycle industry stand-out personalities for over two decades. His championship-winning ways in racing, coupled with his disarming personality off the track, have kept him in the hearts and minds of enthusiasts throughout the world.

What makes Jason so unique is the way he connects with others. Having been involved in motorcycle education and training since he was 14 years old, “JP,” as most call him, has the type of personality that causes many to want to just be around him. He is outgoing and compassionate while maintaining and air of expertise in his field.

JP has an extensive resumé off the motorcycle track as well. He has been doing television, magazine, and online video work in the powersports industry for the past 15 years. Jason is currently color commentator for MotoAmerica racing on BeIn Sports Network and has done color commentary and race interviews for Speed TV; motorcycle testing and analysis for various global motorcycle magazines; and on camera Internet video for MotoUSA.

Jason’s racing career highlights include titles such as: 2012 FIM World Endurance Champion (to go along with his 2003 title), U.S. based AMA Pro 750 SuperSport Champion in 1997, and Formula Extreme Champion in 2002. Jason has provided track riding tips, racing tips, and keen insight to not only motorcycle students registered for JP43 Training, but he has also provided this service to many past and current AMA pro racers.

Michael Gilbert

Michael has been a mainstay of the JP43 program for the past several years. While competing in the MotoAmerica Championship, he’s earned race wins across multiple classes throughout his career, and more recently he’s taken his talent overseas with endurance racing in Europe.

As a coach, Michael is all about helping riders build strong fundamentals. He has a great ability to break things down into simple, repeatable steps—whether he’s working through throttle control, braking technique, or line choice. Just as importantly, he’s excellent at communicating exactly what he’s doing on the bike and how students can apply it for themselves.

Andrew Lee

When Andrew first came to us at 17, he showed up with a list of notes about his riding that immediately caught our attention. He was a quiet kid, and it would’ve been easy to underestimate him—but it didn’t take long to see the drive underneath it all and the real desire he had to become a champion.

Now, three MotoAmerica championships later, it’s safe to say it’s impossible to get him to stop talking… 🙂

All kidding aside, Andrew has a rare ability as a rider to make difficult things look simple. Even more importantly, he works hard as a coach to break those skills down and pass them on in a way that truly connects with his students.

James Rispoli

Rispoli first showed up to us as a dirt tracker with big dreams of becoming a road racer. The deal back then was simple—if he could make it to our STAR School, he could crash on the classroom floor, and we’d help him figure out the rest. Even then, he stood out for his drive and curiosity, determined to learn everything he could about life as a professional racer and how to move his career forward.

Fast forward more than 15 years, and James “the Rocket” Rispoli has far surpassed those early goals. He’s earned wins and championships in both the AMA Pro Supersport and Daytona Sportbike classes, spent several seasons racing full-time in the fiercely competitive British Superbike series, and more recently has been a standout in MotoAmerica’s King of the Baggers with the factory Harley-Davidson team. He also claimed the Hooligan National Championship title with Harley-Davidson.

Corey Alexander

Corey Alexander and Jason have known each other since long before Corey was “the tall guy,” and at this point, they’re practically family. Corey has raced professionally for years in both road racing and flat track, earning impressive results along the way—including the 2013 AMA Pro Supersport East Championship and a MotoAmerica Superstock 1000 title.

He brings a lifetime of racing experience into every coaching session, and he’s still pushing his own riding and career forward with the same intensity and drive that’s defined him from the start.

Brenden Ketelsen

Currently the certified “new guy” on our team, Brenden is already making a serious impact on the California road racing scene—stacking up championships, lap records, and race wins across WERA, AFM, and CVMA.

Being part of our coaching staff takes more than just speed and experience, and Brenden brings the full package: talent, professionalism, and a personality that makes him a perfect fit. We’re genuinely stoked to have him on the team, and even more excited to see him take the next step as he heads into a full-time season in the MotoAmerica series.

Wyatt Farris

Wyatt is a tremendous communicator who we first met through our STAR Schools back in 2013. Coming from a Supermoto racing background, he had already made the jump to road racing in the AMA Supersport class—but when we met him, he was battling some pretty significant body positioning issues.

Working through those fundamentals together helped set the foundation for what came next: multiple AMA and MotoAmerica podiums, AFM championships, and a career that just kept building momentum. Through it all, Wyatt became part of our team and an integral piece of what we do here.

Hawk Mazzotta

We’ve known Hawk for a long time, and there’s always been a strong level of trust between us when it comes to training. He’s one of those coaches who’s comfortable on just about anything—baggers, sport bikes, pavement or dirt. If it has two wheels, chances are Hawk’s thrown a leg over it.

We’ve always kept an eye on what he’s doing, and as he’s gotten back into road racing, it’s been a natural fit to have him working with us again as a coach.

Outside of the JP43 Training program, Hawk also runs his own Hawk Mazzotta Moto Camp in Northern California, working with riders of all ages across a wide range of disciplines—from riding fundamentals to racing and everything in between.

Chris Siebenhaar

From the first time we worked with Chris back in 2005, it was clear he had something special—both as a rider and as a coach. Over the years, we’ve followed his career in the motorcycle industry and kept up with his racing—where we’ve always felt he never quite got the opportunity to show his full potential.

No matter what Chris rides, he does it with skill, precision, and confidence. Whether it’s dirt, road, ADV, or anything else on two wheels, he’s clean and smooth—always in control. Having him as part of the program has been a huge benefit. He’s not only an exceptional rider, but also a natural communicator who connects effortlessly with our students.

Tyler Olmstead

Tyler Olmstead is a frontrunner in the CVMA series, 2017 CVMA Supersport Middleweight champion, and knows Chuckwalla like the back of his hand. You won’t find a nicer guy to help you take your riding to the next level. He’s the JP43 team’s designated handyman, and we’re convinced there’s nothing he can’t do. Tyler is a software developer by trade, and he brings an analytical approach to his teaching. In his free time, he is an avid road cyclist and dirt tracker.

Oliver Kho

Oli is the glue that keeps everything running smoothly around here. The kind of communication it takes to keep our days on track is the same skillset he brings into every coaching session—clear, calm, and dialed-in.

From fundamentals like corner entry and body position to details like RPM management, Oli has a real talent for breaking things down in a way that clicks. He works closely with each student to help them get the most out of every lap and make the most of their JP43 Training experience.

Caroline Olsen

After winning the Norwegian Superstock Championship in 2011, Caroline Olsen made the move to the United States to compete in AMA Pro Supersport. She went on to spend several years racing in the MotoAmerica Championship before eventually returning home to Norway.

Today, Caroline is a proud mom of two amazing boys, and she’ll always have a special place in our hearts. We continue to cheer her on from afar and are incredibly proud and grateful for everything she’s accomplished—on and off the track.
